Join us as a Sales Manager (f/m/d) for Digitalization and Industrial AI, where you will drive the growth of advanced digital solutions across energy-intensive industries like Oil & Gas, Fiber, and Chemicals. Imagine leading consultative sales discussions that translate customer challenges into actionable digital roadmaps, while positioning our company as a trusted partner in their industrial transformation journey. You will engage with executives and plant leaders, facilitating workshops that focus on operational excellence and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help customers unlock measurable business value through innovative technologies, ensuring they achieve their goals of reduced downtime and improved reliability.
How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Regional sales strategy development and execution for Digitalization and Industrial AI solutions
  • Opportunity identification and business development within the Oil & Gas, Fiber, Pulp & Paper, and Chemicals sectors
  • Pipeline development and management to achieve annual order intake and revenue targets
  • End-to-end leadership of complex sales engagements from opportunity discovery through contract award, with a focus on recurring software and services revenue
  • Executive stakeholder relationship management and translation of strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes
What You Bring
  • Fluent in German
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • More than 5 years of experience in Sales, Solution Sales or equivalent
  • Extensive professional experience in industrial sales, business development, or digital transformation sales, with a proven track record in target sectors
  • Strong consultative selling capability, focusing on business outcomes and ROI rather than just technology features
  • Technical expertise in digitalization, IT/OT integration, and process industry knowledge, including familiarity with IIoT, predictive maintenance, and cloud models
  • Excellent executive presence, communication skills, and strategic thinking abilities

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
