Die Kombination aus Eigenverantwortung und echter Unterstützung ist hier selten: Kampagnen kann man von der Strategie bis zur Auswertung selbst mitgestalten, ohne im Mikromanagement zu versinken. Entscheidungswege sind kurz, Feedback kommt direkt und ist konstruktiv. Besonders positiv: Ideen werden gehört, nicht nur abgenickt.

Auch wenn es sich doof anhört, aber mir fällt gerade nichts ein. Ich bin froh ein Teil von JustWatch zu sein.

- No non-technical leadership
- Had the chance to learn a lot in the last 2 years I am at the company and have real impact even at junior Level
- Hands-on, let's get sh** done mentality which I enjoy
- Transparent environment. Honesty is embraced and appreciated. Was able to challenge the C-Level on their decisions and actions without ever fearing bad consequences.
- Took down the site a few times and this never had bad impact on my trajectories withing JW. C-Level understands that "Ship fast and break things" includes breaking things from time to time.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- High responsibility environment is not everyones cake. No-one ever got fired for taking down the site, but there are no heavy guard rails either.
- You need to be okay with hands on mentality, which results in two things:
- Quite some context switching in day2day. Keeps it interesting, but can also be
challenging.
- No place for tech porn, so if you enjoy going deep for 3 weeks into a problem
and then presenting a 100 times thought trough pixel-perfect solution, not the
right place.

I started at JustWatch as a working student and after a few months and finishing my studies jumped on Full-Time. The move towards full time was stressful, but also really awesome. From one day to another, my responsibilities and possibilities increased a lot and I for myself really enjoyed that.
Ever since I am taking on interesting tasks and projects and after formulating that I am interested in that, I also get pulled more into leadership things. If you are ambitious, JustWatch is a great place for you as you will have the chance to learn a lot of different things.
