Not so lean and not much elite
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Chaotic task flow and destribution due to lack of goals understanding, patience and planning. After the Series B announcement and subsequent Knowunity 2.0 manifesto, a few dozen people left, which made the workload absurd.
Kommunikation
Regular meetings with stats and numbers.
Work-Life-Balance
During the Knowunity 2.0 announcement, the founders forced 5 days office week and 50+ hours work per week. This is not reflected in any contract, as it is illegal.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Micromanagement everywhere. Feedback sessions are one-sided—every complaint is being ignored under the premise that one should fix the problem themselves, even if the problem is outside the scope of responsibilities. Constant gaslighting with being blamed for things one has nothing to do with.
Interessante Aufgaben
No extent to work independently with regular micromanagement interventions.
Gleichberechtigung
No idea, but the upper management in its entirety consists of white male.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
There are no older colleagues.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The office is smelly and has not enough space for everyone. Old used laptops. Cheap Chinese furniture. Finding a place to hold an online meeting is a quest. Zero privacy.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The company shifted focus to be a wrapper around LLMs, which have a dramatic environmental impact.
Gehalt/Benefits
Salary is okay, but the lack of any standard benefits negates that.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Getting burned out is hardly a development.
