Verbesserungsvorschläge

improve the old, buggy and slow technology
clear focus and not changing priorities too often (at least not daily or several times a week)
make sure all people have the same information (double check meeting invites, send out a summary via mail or in Confluence with the main points, catch up with people who were out of office)

Arbeitsatmosphäre

usually good
sometimes hectic and moody when its stressful and bigger campaigns are coming up (usually at the end of the year for black friday or christmas)

Kommunikation

too often chaotic because of missing information or quickly (almost daily!) changed priorities
but mostly friendly and respectful between all levels

Kollegenzusammenhalt

good, everyone tries to help if there is a need for it
you can ask everyone for help or information also in other departments

Work-Life-Balance

flexi-time (start between: 7-10 a.m.)
remote first approach / mostly remote work, only sometimes you need to come to the office
it is not expected to stay longer except in emergence cases of course (which happens very very rarely - maybe 1 time in 2-3 years or so)

it depends heavily on the supervisor, which is the same in every company

Interessante Aufgaben

the job has became quite boring since we focus too much on a few tasks only. although they are very simple they are highly manual at the same time.
so very time consuming, mostly assembly line work and not proven to be useful. because of that the learning curve is very flat.
the same applies for looking up data daily. it would help to get a notification from our data source about abnormal changes in specific traffic areas.
this is sad because the job itself has way more potential and we slow us down with that.

focus on the current market situation is not helpful as we usually need to be a bit ahead of seasons and events (trends but as well from the technical implementation side).
it is sad because the work situation becomes very stressful and hectic which opens too much space for errors, mistakes and hiccups in the information flow.

the company should focus on automation and reduce the redundant manual tasks coming with that. this would help tremendously in saving time. people would have room to focus on the pain points of the platform and get mostly all of their work done.
right now it feels like fire fighting only - since years and it does not get better somehow.

Gleichberechtigung

overall we have a good balance but there is also room for improvement. positions are sometimes filled because of good and close connections. the same goes for assigning people to more exciting tasks or projects.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

we do not have very many older colleagues
in my opinion it would support the company culture to have a better mixture in age

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

salary could be higher but there are several different goodies like BVG ticket, lunch compensation, etc.
the new setup allows to discuss salary not only once per year
salary & feedback process is not very transparent and focused on impact only. it has become very fuzzy as everyone has to ask other people in the company for feedback. costs a lot of time and puts even more work on other peoples desk.
but the weaknesses coming with that were shared as feedback with the HR team and they want to improve that.

Ladenzeile is not very well known although the company exists over 10 years
most people perceive us as an online shop and not as a comparison website
so here is room for improvement

Karriere/Weiterbildung

every employee needs to come up with ideas for themselves
it would help if all leaders support their team members here. some of them do but others expect their members to come up with everything (ideas, goals, development plan)
as leaders do have a better overview of changes and personell needs in the whole company it would be helpful to get more support
