Pros
Company culture is Leapsome's best selling point. The value Leapsome places on "People" is the core of its company culture. This means they know both the importance of and the how-to behind making sure employees are valued and validated (ex, through ongoing both positive and growth-oriented feedback), are given what they need to have satisfying and meaningful work (are given what they need to have satisfying and meaningful work (ex, autonomy, challenge, support, growth opportunities), and can communicate openly with each other.
*Communication: Clear channels for open communication.
*Feedback: Always welcome; quickly implemented
*Teamwork: Teams are aligned, work is focused + productive, no busy-work
*Work-life balance: Sustainable and healthy, including for founders
*Support from management, freedom, autonomy: A+, another bonus of working for a company focused on people development and meaningful/engaging work is the understanding + implementation of support and feedback, but also agency, ex no micro-managing.
*Independence: 75% of day, it is a small team so you are often working on a project mostly independently (but with feedback from others).
I would say pros and cons all depend on what you are looking for in a company. For example, right now Leapsome is pretty small personnel-wise, but with a much larger client base, and adding employees quickly. Therefore, if you are looking for a "small, growing team" where you become a core member, this is a pro. If you are looking for bigger company, maybe wait a bit and check back in.
