The team is really helpful and smart as most of the employees at MBition. However, in my department the stress and lack of structure prevailed
which led to a depressed mood and lack of motivation.
Also as mentioned in the other reviews, there are teams where the
workload barely fills the day. Others don't have time to eat lunch and are terrorized by their (so-called) Managers until late at night. There is official talk of a 10-hour rule, but utopian deadlines are set and people work on 5 topics at the same time. Again: depending on the department!
I also see further development as very team-dependent. It depends on whether your manager really and honestly supports you or ignores your ideas and simply sees you as a service provider who puts out the fire for which they themselves were responsible.
There is a variable bonus that reduces the fixed salary. It is simply outdated and, above all, not fair with regard to the workload and the industry.
The colleagues and the team is great and everyone sticks together.
Excellent on a personal basis. Overwhelmed on a professional basis.
The office and environment is great and you can tell that the C.E.O cares about moving the company forward!
I can only agree with the other reviews. There are managers who really do everything to create an orderly and solid work and to develop their team. Unfortunately, there are other managers who are restlessly overwhelmed with their role and simply should not be a people Lead. Communication is sometimes done behind the back, lies are told to make themselves look better in front of the C-Level. Good ideas are sometimes suppressed or sold as "their own".
This company has potential beyond measure. Hopefully some things will change for all people that still try to give it all there!
Prima
Direkte Kommunikation, interessanter Austausch an Informationen, klare Aufgabenstellung entsprechend der Fähigkeiten.
Gute Wahl an Equipment.
Vollen Packet an verschiedenen Aufgaben.
Talentend and friendly people all around, overall a relaxed and positive working atmosphere. I really enjoy coming to work to see all the friendly faces (of humans and dogs ;)). Employees are valued and can contribute their ideas. I feel like the company values are truly lived on a daily basis.
Subsidiary company of Daimler with start-up atmosphere - what could be better?
Flexible working hours, Home office, remote work: the company puts a great emphasis on a healthy work-life-Balance. My supervisor told me first thing that it's about working smart rather than working long hours and that your recognition does NOT come from overtime. In case I struggled to get the job done during my regular working hours, I can always reach out and discuss how we can better distribute/prioritze tasks.
Different career opportunities, trainings and a development program. Overal a strong emphasis on learning and development.
There could be more social benefits, but the salary is competitve (I would say even above average) and there are additional great (health and transportation) benefits. There is also a yearly salary review process
...is not the main focus, but some efforts are made (waste separation, energy saving etc.)
As a new employee you immediately feel welcome and integrated. Everyone is very friendly and eager to help.
Great support & guidance from my supervisor. Regular feedback sessions & meetings, we are working closely together and I am free to ask for help or talk openly about struggles. I feel very valued and well cared for.
Fantastic location (especially in the summertime), stunning building and offe space *-*, kitchen with a great coffee machine on every floor (sometimes even two), meeting rooms, quiet rooms for calls, comfy corners to relax and meet, great equipment, basically everything you need to feel motivated and productive :)!
Open and pretty straightforward communication via different channels, meetings held on a regular basis, so that you're always up to date.
The team is very diverse, there are many different nationalities and backgrounds !
Your personal strenghts and interests are being considered when it comes to distributing tasks. Your can always contribute your own ideas and specialize in a field you are passionate about (with different career paths and a special program)
Definitely many interesting tasks at work in a broad (automotive) field. Good relation to Daimler in Stuttgart.
Advertises with scrum, but have not seen a single team properly doing it. No technical career possible right now. Hope that changes one day.
Harmonize and improve job titles. Do not call everyone who has touched a PC a "Software Architect". Follow scrum or get rid of POs and Scrum Masters, but do not invent an own version of it.
Home office is not a problem, no fixed times.
Senior is a level you get, when you had any job before this one. The next level is already a management job. So that is a pretty limited career.
Salary is average for Berlin in this field. An additional yearly Bonus from Daimler. No employee pension.
Have not noticed any special engagement, but also nothing negative.
Good tables/chairs.
Elevators hardly ever working.
Not sure why other people clicked those buttons but the employer does not provide parking spaces for all, company car only for C-level and definitely not prepared for disabled people.
Unless they do not ever need to use toilets.
Enough interesting tasks in the company. No need to do "boring work". Can learn a lot.
health benefits, nice office once it's completed
In some departments, slandering and tattling are unfortunately on the daily agenda, but this concerns more the administrative area. Unfortunately, the exchange between the administrative departments of the company and the development teams is not encouraged. There are actually two parallel worlds. They boast about growing fast, and that's true. But unfortunately the personal spirit is lost and everything is very anonymous. They call themselves multicultural, but Germans and foreigners work next to each other, not together. Decision-making paths are very long, you can feel the company behind here, but then again there are no processes to fundamental issues.
Speak openly to each other about problems. Get rid of scandalmongers. Shortening processes. Don't take yourself too seriously.
depends on the team. I always feel like everyone is very stressed out.
In the administration team overtime is part of everyday life.
depends on the team.
Some people there love gossip and prefer to talk behind someones back instead of speaking directly to them. Very high group formation.
Have a lot to do getting along with their own stuff and use Juniors as their assistants
construction area at the moment, but someday it might be over
men's world, but at least intercultural
