take the feedback and criticism employees give more seriously (HR always seemed very understanding and compassionate but that’s of little use if the superiors in the department don’t care), show more appreciation and less distrust
Arbeitsatmosphäre
the worst work environment i have experienced. there was a lot of pressure to hit unreasonable KPIs and there was an atmosphere of distrust due to micromanaging. we had to announce on slack whenever we wanted to use the restroom or get something to drink and shiftleads would sometimes even comment on this. superiors spoke badly about employees behind their backs. shiftleads made inappropriate comments about others. i’ve witnessed harassment and victim blaming.

we were asked which shifts we preferred and they tried to incorporate these more which was nice. night shifts made a healthy work-life-balance more difficult.

the promotion to specialist is very achievable but realistically i don’t think you can advance a lot

the pay was alright, not very good but also not terrible if you do weekends and night shifts.

superiors aside the team was mostly friendly and supportive

the vast majority of people were in their 20s and 30s

often unprofessional. leads were dismissive when issues were addressed. some tried to be respectful and cared but usually trying to address any issues wasn’t met with compassion. there was a lot of pressure and little appreciation.
Arbeitsbedingungen
the office is nice and modern but that’s about it
Kommunikation
changes and news were usually communicated on slack which was easy and efficient. communication was sometimes friendly, sometimes not, depends on who you were talking to and what you wanted to speak about. announcing to all whether someone was fired or left on their own choice felt really weird.
Gleichberechtigung
because of the way harassment was dealt with not everyone felt safe. there was a lack of awareness.
Interessante Aufgaben
always the same tasks but you get to speak to a lot of different people and handle a variety of issues
