Sorry...took me a long time...but I cannot think of anything that is seriously annoying me here other than the usual hick-ups every job entails every now and then :-)

Arbeitsatmosphäre

People at MOIA are highly motivated and professional which is very inspiring. Lots of energy around.

Kommunikation

I very much appreciate the way we are communicating via Slack at all levels and across teams. Management offers formats in which employees can ask their questions re. strategy, culture etc. and also offers regular update meetings for teams to announce their progress/new features, introduces new teammates etc.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

This is by far MOIA's biggest strongpoint. People support the mission and one another. No elbows, no inflated egos...just dedication to the tasks at hand and to creating the future traffic transformation. Many employees spend time outside their working hours with workmates, group up for sports and events or just a beer after "Feierabend".

Work-Life-Balance

Due to people's dedication to MOIA and the speed of some developments, there is always a certain risk of not really getting out of "work mode". One needs self-reflection and an awareness of this in order to draw a line where it needs to be drawn, which is always respected. I feel that MOIA fully supports me in agreeing work and family and leaves a great space for self-organisation as long as my work is done properly and in time. This enhances my personal freedom and lowers my overall stress-level immensely.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Management is approachable and easy to talk to. My direct superior is usually super-busy and our communication/1:1 time is therefore understandably often limited, but I do feel appreciated and respected, which is important to me.

Interessante Aufgaben

My tasks are varied and interesting as they are closely connected to CEO/C-Level management topics.

Gleichberechtigung

I love the way there are so many female and male feminists at MOIA. I am immensely grateful for the way we support equality in all directions. As I'd like to think there is always room for improvement in this category, I leave the fifth star open as a motivation to keep pursuing this path.

There are no differences made between younger and older employees as far as I have experienced.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The Office is very "design-y" and beautifully located right in the middle of Hamburg. The working materials are of high standard.

Our mission in itself shows the awareness of environmental issues and our dedication to contribute to a better tomorrow. For social conscience applies what is also valid for equality: There is always room for improvement and the efforts made should be pursued further.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

I feel we are well-paid and also get an annual bonus. We furthermore enjoy free cold drinks, coffee/tea, cereals and regularly breakfast during our update meetings as well as Home Office and a fully covered HVV ticket. Additionally, MOIA has a fantastic Office Management that spreads fun and warmth and always has an open ear for the employees.

The people of Hamburg have welcomed our service so warmly and still stand behind the idea with a lot of enthusiasm. As soon as you mention you work for MOIA, you usually have very nice chats about how great the experience of using MOIA is. This makes me feel really good as I identify with our mission/my job.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

In general there are several workshops with topics related to your role or task. Overall I feel that there could be more focus on the development of each individual employee, although they are not situated in tech or in a larger team. But having said that, I know I can contact our P&R team at any time with a concrete suggestion for a course/workshop/event I would like to participate in.
