Rocket Mentalität von Oben vorgegeben. Utopische Ziele und Deadlines vorgegeben, um dann ständig die Mitarbeiter unter Druck zu setzen, mehr zu performen. Definitiv keine Arbeitsatmosphäre, die ich langfristig empfehlen würde.
You can really push yourself to get excellent results if you are self motivated and like to work. These will mostly also get recognised.
Certain departments, such as strategy and expansion, exhibited a hire-fire dynamic, while the sales department fostered an zero-fire atmosphere, where really incompetent leaders were kept for a long time, passing probation and even getting promoted. Additionally, some departments contribute significantly but lack sufficient company-wide recognition.
The gender imbalance is stark, with men comprising the majority and women being a rare presence. While there are exceptional female leaders, the overall team lacks balance, exacerbated by the absence of a gender quota. This allows some leaders to justify hiring solely based on merit, often resulting in a perpetuation of male dominance in the industry. Addressing gender inequality is feasible; it requires proactive steps rather than dismissing it as an unsolvable issue.
Monitor your leaders more attentively and solicit feedback directly from their direct reports rather than solely relying on the leaders themselves. It appears that founders are often unaware of the realities within teams, resulting in the tolerance of misconduct until someone finally voices concerns, leading to abrupt terminations of poor managers. This cycle impedes growth and learning for managers and leaves employees feeling unheard.
A lot of talented colleagues working on a super cool product. Competitive compensation and benefits, remote work policy. A lot of responsibility from the start, which helps to develop really fast. Good company culture, diversity, and team spirit.
So far so good, being so early stage leads to some ambiguity at times, but nothing you wouldn't expect from this stage
