The colleagues.
The "leadership" style, blackmailing and discrimination at the workplace. If you don't have a car and unlimited fuel, don't work there. The flexible working hours are actually not flexible.
Better or different leadership. Better location. More public transport friendly location.
The atmosphere is mostly dull and it feels like, no one dares to speak out
...
There is unreasonable pressure.
Further education is not encouraged, as it would take away work commitment. If you get a further study, you will not get paid for it.
They brag about high salary, which is actually the industry average or sometimes below average. Qualifications aren't considered for the salary.
They do not really care about environment even though it is stated in the mission.
We get along very well.
We did not have many elders in the company.
The leadership is catastrophic. The CEO would blackmail colleagues and threat them with lawsuit for minor details, mistakes or oversight - e.g. burnout or lack of commitment.
The bare minimum is provided.
There is a lot between the lines. There is a lot of discrimination happening and also towards foreign costumers, which is most disturbing considering that it is a company for people.
Vegetarians, those with migration background, females may face discrimination from top-down.
There is indeed a lot to do - outside of your job description
Flexible working hours, enjoyable tasks and great colleagues.
Leadership and values
It depends. Every few weeks, there is a week when most colleagues, including remote employees, gather at the office. During these weeks, the atmosphere is generally lively and engaging. On other days, the office can feel quiet and somewhat dull, as fewer people are present. Occasionally, supervisors may let their moods affect their interactions with employees, which can create a negative atmosphere and impact motivation.
Like any company, mopla has its advantages and disadvantages - it all depends on whom you ask.
Thanks to flexitime, home office, and remote work regulations, the work-life balance is generally good. However, colleagues who work remotely or from home sometimes feel a lack of trust, which can create stress both at work and in their free time.
The team spirit is great. The teams are very young, and everyone is friendly and helpful.
Tere are too few supervisors for too many large teams. As a result, some projects progress more slowly and with more stress because supervisors are often unavailable due to their workload, leaving teams to handle things on their own. There are also instances where feedback is not properly received, which gives the impression that it’s more about the work than the individual.
The office is equipped with modern amenities, including laptops, height-adjustable desks, and a modern kitchen. However, for those who don’t drive, the daily 30-minute walk from the train station to the office is quite inconvenient.
Communication could be more transparent, especially regarding changes such as staff turnover or restructuring. In some cases, the limited number of supervisors leads to delays and increased stress due to their unavailability.
The salary is okay, and social benefits are slightly above the modern minimum. Perks include free drinks, Christmas parties with company-sponsored dining, 30 days of vacation, and small team events with a free meal during company-wide office weeks. However, there is no company pension scheme, canteen, employee discounts, or workation options.
The tasks are very interesting, and employees have a lot of freedom to choose which tasks they want to work on.
