Great company! They offer ample training beforehand, as well as the structure of a major corporation in the back. Head office is also generally really friendly, understanding and tends to support the employeees.

To be honest, I worked with a few superiorors, who seemed to have gotten to where they were due to their seniority, rather than actual abilities and qualifications.

Provide better career options for people on ships, plus don‘t depend promotion and advancement on one team lead - maybe look into 360 degree feedback?

Well, I was not working for head office, but on cruise ships. Is there such a thing as life outside work while on ships? To put it into hours: I worked between 20 and 95 hours a week, depending on itienerary and team

Depending on th teamleads on a ship as well, it ranged from amazing to horrible

No social security, as it wasn‘t required. The salary was high enough to cover it voluntarily though.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
If you work on ships, your only option after a while is working for head office, which only happens for very few people - the best of the best.
