Struggling Ecommerce Company with High Turnover
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The "comprehensive training/events" isnt that comphrehensive. Ask for specifics if you interview there.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
In my opinion, the company suffers from poor judgement from management. Management often shows up irregularly or not at all for long periods. When around, there are sudden bursts of micromanagement and surprise high priority projects which are later forgotten or dropped after wasting time and resources.
People with long-standing personal relationships to top management have undue influence despite lacking the competence their position requires. Of course, this happens many places.
After receiving investment from La Tour in Sweden in 2015, the company began to rapidly expand though has now scaled back, wasting a great deal of money, time and resources.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
If new investors can be found, I hope they don't make the same mistake as La Tour did by allowing C-level to stay. They need people experienced growing small companies.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Coworkers are fantastic, very friendly and motivated people. Management leaves something to be desired.
Kommunikation
Very poor.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Excellent group of coworkers who work well together and just walk over and talk about problems, issues and ideas. Not much "not my job" mentality or issues.
Work-Life-Balance
Depends on department. Dev often required to do more overtime
Gleichberechtigung
Lots of men and women from all countries.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Not bad, not great. You can do better in the Stuttgart area.
Image
The company has its lawyer complain to Google and Kununu every time someone writes a negative review. You decide what that says about them!
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Small departments so not many chances.
