I'm working at Numberfour for a few years now. Before that I also worked for other kinds of start-ups, so I would assume that I know the start-up environment pretty well. During my time at NumberFour I experienced some positive change, which gives me understanding for some of the previous reviews. Nowadays there is improvement in both offices Berlin and Hamburg. In Berlin you have a small team of engineers (about 15), which makes it very close-knit and friendly, so you can really be yourself at N4. The colourful international mixture will take you in just the way you are. Going to work doesn't feel like a duty to earn money, it feels like being part of something exciting. Working @ NumberFour gives you great insight to a fast paced environment, you work very close with the management board. The CEO is demanding, but also passionate about the product. If you appreciate fast decisions and an independent working atmosphere with a lot of room for creativity, this is the right place for you! At times it can be challenging, but it's so very much rewarding.

People tend to take all the benefits for granted. Sometimes you feel like there is a lack of communication. It seems like some of the people forget that communication flow might be relevant also outside of their own teams.
