I applied by sending my CV and cover letter in the late afternoon, around 6 pm. I got a phone call from somebody from the HR department at 9:20 pm that same evening asking me what were my salary expectations. I told her and she said they can offer only 2/3 s of what I was asking. I said "Ah, I see...". At the end she strongly discouraged me to pursue with the application. I accepted her advice happily. I think that all the bad rumors about the company are true.
