Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Job ticket, food on Fridays, nice summer and Christmas parties.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Do better reference checks when the company is hiring friends to family members. It is nice to have in theory, but in practice.... If you are close friends with management and hang out with them after work for some drinks... Fraternization happens and they are better off when it comes to career progression....it happens way too often with this organization. I have not seen it so bad like here in other organizations.

Conduct better reviews and ask employees to be honest about the organization anonymously.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

In general most people are great and there are some great colleagues, Fridays were nice since we received food time to time. But this can't fix the bigger issues that happened while I was there. So couldn't give it a high score.

Kommunikation

One to one meetings were always great, but decided to give it a low score due to the fact that between employees was horrible. We had a young well talented individual as our lead, the problem was this person didn't have the communication skills nor anytype of emotional IQ. On the management side, as stated before, one to ones were always great, the problem is the insight the FM had wasn't really from them but what they have heard from others. This significantly impacts your CD&F since if you weren't in good terms with a certain individual or individuals, management would only hear the bad side. Now sometimes we had team meetings to discuss improvements or any issues.... Good luck with that. Most employees are afraid to speak up, oh if you do.... You become the black sheep.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

While there are bad apples in every organization, it is difficult to give this a good rating. I really enjoyed working with one half of the team, and the other handful were close friends with management so there was this sense of everyone thinking they had management authority based on the fact they were close friends with management. So it kinda created this toxic culture, were everyone shuts and must do what they are told.

Work-Life-Balance

The concept exist but not really enforced, PRA promotes this so much. But in practice, if you aren't working extra hours, you don't look dedicated...it is kinda contradicting due to the fact that if you cant complete your work within your contractual working hours then you are ineffective. But here, you taking extra hours to work on a project makes you look dedicated....

Vorgesetztenverhalten

You'll be surprised who becomes management. There is a director level employee who is always yelling and complaining and using profanity to their other friends at the office. In addition, she would tell so loud and use so much profanity and pretty much talk shit about her other colleagues, she assumed no one could hear her behind closed doors. We also had another individual, known to drink alcohol in the office, but everyone turned a blind eye.

Interessante Aufgaben

The projects are always great, you are exposed to many different products and are always interesting to read.

Gleichberechtigung

Oh... Yeah this is a female dominated company. While upper management, such as VPs or so still tend to be male. Most mid level management are female. As a male, good luck... You'll get paid lower compared to your female counter part. While it is great that women are finally being paid more... Its just a vicious cycle of going against the equality for male and female.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

It is hard to say, the company is very young. Most older employees came to work shut and left. But there are a few that are horrible as explained before or cant deal with change.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The working conditions such as benefits are great, you always have facilities on call to fix any issues.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

For the most part, the company is digital but they sure do still use a lot of paper.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

They could do better, PRA is an expensive service for other pharmaceutical companies and they receive a lot of money. They can easily pay a better wage to their employees.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

If you are not in good terms with management kiss that career development good bye.
