Working at Proske was an extremely difficult and distressing experience.

Unfortunately, the working atmosphere is very toxic. Colleagues are often in a bad mood and may behave discourteously, largely because the working conditions are extremely stressful and everyone is under constant pressure.

Work and personal life overlap to such an extent that it becomes difficult to know where one ends and the other begins.

Unfortunately, there are no meaningful opportunities to attend courses or classes that would help employees develop their professional knowledge. Training may occasionally be provided by other employees, but it does not lead to a recognized qualification or professional certification.
Gehalt/Benefits
Salaries generally remain unchanged. Employees may occasionally receive a bonus, but overtime is not compensated. Additional leave is also not granted, even after employees have worked for months without adequate rest and considerably more hours than they should reasonably be expected to work.

There is no genuine sense of team spirit. Everyone works independently and at their own pace on their respective projects. Since there are only a limited number of large projects, there is constant competition for assignments that allow employees to record billable hours, as no one wants to accumulate non-billable time.
The way working hours are structured is a serious problem. If you do not have projects to which you can allocate billable hours, this time is effectively treated as though you had not worked. As a result, employees must constantly find ways to demonstrate that they were productive and that any shortage of work was due to a lack of available assignments rather than a lack of willingness to work.

Supervisors tend to micromanage employees. They may also take credit for someone else’s work after making a minor adjustment and then presenting the result as their own idea.

The flexibility of the working arrangements is perhaps one of the company’s few redeeming qualities, as employees can work from home or from virtually anywhere in the world.

Communication is an ongoing problem. The lack of clear communication frequently creates conflicts, interferes with the work and leads to unnecessary mistakes.

Interessante Aufgaben
There are relatively few opportunities to enjoy interesting tasks. This is not necessarily because the projects themselves are uninteresting, but because of the pace and structure of the work. There is no opportunity to recover between projects. If you have accumulated hours that cannot be recorded as billable, you are expected to continue working at full capacity.
