An uncertain future under constantly changing management and layoffs
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Despite the difficult circumstances, there is still a strong sense of solidarity among many colleagues. Employees often support one another and try to keep things running even during periods of significant uncertainty.
Depending on the position, salaries can also be comparatively high. A professional development budget exists in principle, although access to and encouragement of further development have become increasingly limited.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
For approximately a year, the company has gone through repeated rounds of layoffs affecting different teams and departments. Combined with frequent changes in management, this has created an environment with little stability and no credible long-term perspective.
The company’s direction, priorities, and leadership appear to change repeatedly. A consistent vision or strategy is either missing or not communicated convincingly. This leaves employees uncertain not only about their own positions, but also about the future of the company as a whole.
Trust has been damaged further by salaries repeatedly not being paid on time. Promotion and staffing decisions can also appear arbitrary, as transparent criteria and understandable explanations are often missing.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Restore basic reliability by paying salaries on time, communicating important changes openly and early, and presenting a credible long-term strategy. Management should listen to employee feedback, establish consistent priorities and involve teams in decisions that affect their work. Workloads must reflect actual staffing levels, overtime should be compensated, and career development and promotion decisions require transparent and consistent criteria.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere is tense and defined by uncertainty. Repeated layoffs and constant organizational changes have made it difficult to feel secure or confident about the future.
Image
The company’s image does not fully reflect the internal reality. Repeated layoffs, frequent management changes and the lack of a credible long-term direction have significantly damaged trust among employees.
Work-Life-Balance
Overtime is not adequately compensated or offset with time off. Additional responsibilities frequently extend beyond the original scope of a role, making a sustainable work-life balance difficult to maintain.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
A professional development budget existed in principle. However, further training received little active support from management and was increasingly treated as a cost to be avoided. Career paths and promotion criteria were also not sufficiently transparent or consistent.
Gehalt/Benefits
Salaries for some roles were comparatively high. However, payments were repeatedly delayed, which severely undermined trust and reliability. Competitive salaries cannot compensate for employees being unable to depend on receiving them on time.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The support among many colleagues is one of the few consistently positive aspects. People make a genuine effort to help one another and maintain cooperation despite the difficult circumstances.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
I did not observe any clearly identifiable treatment specifically targeting older colleagues. The general uncertainty within the company has affected employees across different age groups.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
investor expectations. Feedback and differing opinions were rarely taken into account, while decisions were often pushed through without meaningful discussion. Frequent leadership changes further contributed to a lack of continuity and a clear long-term direction.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The technical equipment was generally good. Employees were provided with a company laptop and phone, and working from home was possible. However, the organizational conditions became increasingly difficult as responsibilities were not always clearly or sustainably structured.
Kommunikation
Important changes were often communicated at very short notice. Over time, internal communication became noticeably less open and transparent, leaving employees with limited context for decisions that directly affected their work and future.
Interessante Aufgaben
The tasks were interesting at the beginning. Over time, however, employees had less influence over their own responsibilities and were increasingly expected to carry out what management had decided, without being meaningfully involved in setting priorities or shaping the work.
