A fast and straightforward application process, flat hierarchies and an open mindset towards new ideas. The flexible working model with around four office days per month offers a good balance between remote work and office presence. Those who prefer spending more time in the office are encouraged to do so, and many colleagues choose to come in once or twice a week, creating a nice balance between flexibility and in-person collaboration.
The office location is great and well connected, within walking distance of Potsdamer Platz. Onboarding was well organized, both by HR and within the team. Overall, colleagues have been very supportive – from the hiring process through to day-to-day work – and everyone has been willing to share knowledge and help whenever needed.
One thing I particularly appreciate is the level of trust employees are given. There is no unnecessary micromanagement, and people are trusted to take ownership of their work while knowing support is available whenever needed.
At the beginning, there is quite a lot to take in due to the Allianz setup and the number of stakeholders involved. However, I was given the time and support needed to get up to speed, which made the onboarding experience much smoother.
One area for improvement could be offering permanent contracts from the start where possible. As probation periods already provide both sides with an opportunity to assess the fit, this would give new employees more security.
Open and positive work environment. Topics can be addressed openly, and new ideas are welcomed. Although I’ve only been here for a short time, I’ve already felt that contributions are appreciated and taken seriously.

People are approachable, supportive and willing to help each other. I’ve always received support whenever I had questions so far, regardless of the team. Colleagues also regularly organize private after-work get-togethers, which says a lot about the team spirit and creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Fast and transparent communication, already during the application process. The entire process from first interview to contract took around 4–5 weeks. Expectations were communicated clearly throughout the hiring process and have matched the reality of the role so far.
