Nice co workers, toxic management. No benefits minimum wage boring job

They barely take notice of who works there and i mean professionally. I have over 10 years of experience in hospitality and was just there because was in between jobs and they kept trying to explain the most basic stuff to me, including the person who hired me and saw my cv. Very inefficient to them and irritating to employees.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Managers to threaten employees over calling in sick is beyond inappropriate and should be severe consequences. Know your employees, what their experience is and trust them to do their jobs. If you infantilise people they will behave like children. But if you 're aware of their experience and give them space to excel they will show you what they're capable of.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Coworkers are extremely nice and the team is very international/diverse. Anything that has to do with management is a disaster. Theres countless managers and each has different expectations and ways of doing things so you gotta adapt what you do according to which is on shift.
Work-Life-Balance
Extremely inflexible. They mainly just hire full time and you work in shifts starting from 6am or ending around 2am. They will rotate you constantly so you have no time to adapt to the drastic change of time and basically have no life outside of work. Also they expect you to stay overtime very often.

You can advance if you stay very long which good luck with that

Extremely toxic. The Food and beverage manager is despised by everyone and with reason. I was sick for weeks and kept coming to work because i was new until one day i got a fever and had to call in sick. She then proceeded to gossip about this to other co workers in a briefing insinuating I was lying about being sick whilst also threatening other new starters saying it was inadmissible for new people to call in sick. Other co workers said that was normal behaviour from her and that everyone was bullied into not calling in sick.
Kommunikation
Terrible. From the outside they seem corporate but from within its managed like a small business with huge expectations on workers and no benefits in return.
Interessante Aufgaben
They make sure runners stick to one task only so the job is extremely dull and at times theres nothing to do or then extremely overwhelming. very poorly managed
