Unhealthy culture, weak leadership, and extremely poor work-life balance
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
My experience at Syskron was unfortunately very disappointing. The company presents itself as modern and innovative, but the internal culture I experienced was the complete opposite. The work atmosphere felt highly political, and genuine effort often went unnoticed. Team dynamics suffered from favoritism, unclear direction, and inconsistent expectations. Meaningful appreciation was extremely rare, even when delivering high-quality work.
In my experience, the overall environment seemed to be heavily influenced by one dominant individual whose decisions were treated as final, regardless of the team’s input. This created a culture in which managers appeared disconnected from the actual work and had very limited understanding of individual contributions. HR communication was also surprisingly weak and often unresponsive during important moments.
One of the biggest issues for me was the extremely poor work-life balance. Decisions made by one person frequently resulted in unnecessary long calls lasting 4–5 hours, sometimes involving people from different time zones around the world. In my entire career, I have never experienced such a practice. These long sessions were exhausting, unproductive, and showed little respect for employees’ personal time or well-being.
Another challenge was the lack of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Important decisions were made by a single person without involving the team, and mistakes were often treated with more sympathy than consistent performance, which was demotivating for high performers. It was also uncomfortable to witness open arguments and conflicts happening during meetings in front of the entire team.
The onboarding process was equally disappointing. There was very little support or guidance, and yet later I received feedback on things that were never discussed with me beforehand. This inconsistency contributed to a sense of confusion and frustration.
Overall, I cannot recommend joining Syskron based on my experience. I am genuinely relieved that I am no longer part of this organization, as the environment did not support growth, mental well-being, or healthy work-life boundaries. I strongly believe the company needs a deep cultural and leadership overhaul to create a healthier, more respectful, and more professional workplace.
