the people hired- there was a great team vibe and we genuinely enjoyed working together.
maybe a little issue with steering the ship. now that profitablity has been achieved I hope its lasting and allows for the same meaningful internal conditions as before. tado genuinely deserves to prosper
There was the constant question of will we/won't we become profitable and tehre were some geniuine external factors taht ruined some great opportunities for the company. I suspect with hindsight it's easy to say that the CEOs priorities and how they were actioned could have been better- also top management could have been a bit more flexible- some people are just suited to certain roles better than others
Pre downsizing there was a really great atmosphere and we would happily spend time together socially too. Everyone was respected enough to get their own work done without a manager breathing down your neck. Though this changed during layoffs and smaller teams taking on a bigger workload will inevitably change things.
while I was there image was great- I assume things changed after layoffs
Great, there was a real focus on making sure we switched off after work, and we had great felxi-hours that really helped esp. people with families.
I was given opportunities to learn and attend conferences- we had a budget for this
For my role the salary was on par with mid tohigh range. social beenfits too
We had an environmental committee to assess the situration and employees were on the whole personally interested in environmental issues and how to address them.
internal teams were amazing- everyone really worked together and had each others backs. across departments was a little less like this, but some dept.s made the effort to break down those silos.
this was a pretty young company overall, so I can't talk tot eh older hires- however until layoffs, seniors were valued and there was some really deep OG knowledge
Generally great, though I guess for some engineers, becoming managers wasnt a natural fit. my experince was positive.

Communication improved over the time I was there- different CEO's had different styles but I appreciated the efforts to keep us in the loop.
In my view women were given opportunities to grow into leadership roles- that challenge was possibly in the hiring- the idea of 'there are no women to hire, to promote' etc. which is complex. (there was only one senior woman in the org while I was there)
There were some interesting challenges linked to the nature of the work- mostly we got on with what we were assigned, but cross-team projects were common and added a nice change.

Man befindet sich in einer Nische, die mehr und mehr von Wettbewerbern mit breitem Portfolio besetzt wird. Wenn man nur Thermostate bietet, wird es die Firma so bald nicht mehr geben.
Man versucht nach Außen den Schein zu wahren Eco-Friendly zu sein, allerdings ist es nur Show!
