I had a very disappointing candidate experience with Variolytics GmbH.

I went through three interview stages. The first two interviews went very well, and during the onsite interview I delivered a presentation that was positively received.

During the final discussion, the hiring manager explicitly told me that they wanted to move forward and even asked how they could convince me to join. Based on this, I communicated my acceptance of the offer shortly after.

However, a few days later, I received a rejection without any explanation.

This kind of lack of transparency and inconsistency is highly unprofessional, especially after giving a candidate clear verbal confirmation.

I would advise others to be cautious and not rely on verbal commitments during the hiring process.
