Dear former Visual Metan,

Thanks for your feedback, which I appreciate, even though I disagree in many aspects. Please let me explain why:

For a start, it is simply not true that most people leave after one year. In fact, just yesterday we celebrated the 7-year anniversary of one of our team members, for instance. In addition, it is also not fair to say that "everything work related" is a con against Visual Meta. Especially in Marketing, your domain, there is a plethora of things to learn. We are one of the most successful online marketing players in the e-commerce sphere - you can tell by the numbers - so every marketeer can acquire both fundamental and advanced knowledge about online marketing from the experts that work with us, irrespective of the channel. In order to foster this learning, we have a very structured onboarding process, both cross-department and department-internally, with at least 6 trainings during the first 2 months. This is accompanied with a minimum of three mandatory feedback talks within the first year, to ensure a steep on-the-job learning curve.
For everything that cannot be learned on the job, we offer high quality trainings from the Axel Springer training schedule, be it on soft or hard skills (currently 102 trainings, not counting onboarding).

Finally, we keep experimenting and systematically testing in order to stay at the forefront of online marketing - and every team member who is driven and eager to learn is welcome to participate in those efforts.

Are we doing everything in perfection? Certainly not, and I don't claim we do so. Have we gone through troublesome times already? Yes, we did. But we continuously work on improving our company and have already shown great improvements and celebrated great successes in the past. And everybody who is willing to make a difference is invited to join the team and continue to do so!
