Disorganised and unprofessional

Unfortunately one of the worst application experiences I have had. 1st interview was friendly and enjoyable. The salary offered however is the lowest I have heard of not only in the sales industry but in any "kaufmaennischen" Position in Germany! I was however relieved to hear that commission would be awarded immediately from every sale that I made.
2nd Interview (3 hours away on the train. Travel costs were not paid for) I met the Recruitment manager who promptly let me know that the role I applied for was not officially open and that the commission system was different: only after earning 18.000 Euros a month for the company would I begin to earn commission. I then received a week later a generic rejection email.
I fully accept the rejection but feel a personal explanation is deserved considering the application process went on for so long.
Really disappointing for a company with a lovely working atmosphere but terrible organisation and unprofessional recruitment processes.
