In my opinion, informing employees about a salary reduction only a few days before the New Year demonstrates a lack of respect and professionalism. Actions like this undermine trust between employees and management.
Additionally, creating stressful situations during the workday—for example, announcing that bonuses will be removed because certain employees took sick leave, or imposing collective responsibility on the entire team instead of addressing specific issues with individual drivers—shows poor management practices. In my view, leadership that handles situations in this way does not earn the respect of its employees.
The company should stop treating employees as expendable labor and instead focus on fair and respectful working conditions. Management should also avoid creating emotional instability through sudden decisions and inconsistent communication, as this negatively affects employees’ mental well-being and can lead to stress and burnout. I am willing to answer any questions you may have and discuss my perspective further. You already have my contact details, so please feel free to reach out. My intention in writing this is not to misrepresent the company, but simply to share my personal experience and describe the situation as I have encountered it.
The work atmosphere is very poor and does not motivate employees. There is little to no encouragement to perform well or to improve.
Few employees truly like working for this company. Most remain because they have difficulty finding other jobs or because they have limited language skills.
There is practically no work–life balance. The typical workday starts around 10:30 and lasts approximately 9–10 hours. Because of this schedule, it is difficult to manage personal tasks either in the morning or in the evening, as the remaining time is very limited.
There are no visible opportunities for career growth or professional development. Employees typically remain couriers without prospects for advancement. At least, I have not seen anyone progress within the company.
Employees should be prepared for possible deductions related to sick leave, reductions in lunch compensation, or sudden salary reductions announced shortly before the New Year. The only positive aspect is that salaries are usually paid on time, typically by the 15th of each month.
I do not have enough information to comment on this aspect.
If you are unable to finish your route, colleagues may sometimes be sent to help, and you may also be asked to assist others. However, there is very little sense of team spirit. Employees tend to split into separate groups, mostly due to language differences.
Long-term employees are not valued. Since I joined the team, only two or three people who have been with the company for more than a year remain. Most experienced employees have already left.
Be prepared for situations where major decisions are communicated at the last minute. For example, employees may be informed about salary reductions only one day before New Year’s Eve. Management may also publicly criticize employees in the group chat and shift collective responsibility onto individuals, even if the issue is related to other employees taking too many sick days. Even if you are a good driver, this often does not matter.
Employees should be prepared to work with vehicles that may have serious issues, such as missing seat belts, no air conditioning, no rear-view camera, malfunctioning doors, or problematic batteries that may fail unexpectedly.
Most of the feedback employees receive is negative. You are often told that you are too slow, that your work is not good enough, and that someone else in the company does the job faster and better. At the same time, management may criticize you for logging into the work application too early, but if you log in later and lose time, they usually ignore it unless you raise the issue yourself.
In practice, employees are not treated equally. For example, drivers may receive little recognition. In my case, when my child was born, there was no acknowledgment in the company chat, while an office employee whose child was born a few weeks later received congratulations from the team.
Work organization is very poor. Responsibility is often shifted from the intermediary company to Amazon, with management claiming that “Amazon is responsible for everything.” Employees may even be asked to travel to another city for the same salary, with only the lunch allowance being slightly increased.
