Man hat alle Freiheiten der Welt. Kommen und gehen wann man will.
Respektvoll
Mal so mal so.
It would be nice to include some paid courses for employees to better their skills espescially before starting a new project with a new stack.
Good, but the option of home office should be given more often. The possibility did exist in some cases when asked for, not just during the entire covid era.
Though the option of using other technologies did exist at the time I was an employee, devs had to learn on their own. No courses were being paid for by the company.
Always on time.
Never had issues with fellow colleagues. Everyone was very nice, helpful and we worked well together.
Great. No conflict, full respect on boths sides.
Could use some upgrading, but in reality all the work could be done with the devices that we were provided with.
I was always provided with clear info on tasks and given a solid intro to new projects by project managers and other developers.
From my experience, everybody is treated equally.
This really depends on the project you're working on. Some were interesting some a bit less, depending on if you're working on something new or fixing something that's quite old.
Abwechslungsreiche lernreiche Aufgaben.
If you need appreciation for work, go and work somewhere else.
Further education was not paid.
Salary was not bad, also not great, but was always paid on time.
Wars between coworkers and departments were fought open and loud in the middle of the office. There were some really nice coworkers, but in general this was a very toxic environment. People will not talk to you, because they are so stressed, others will laugh at you and call you stupid. If you don't know how to protect your mental health, you will get problems here.
The overall situation reminded me of the dynamics in a school class full of early adolescent boys with no teacher present.
Middle management was not existing. You always communicated with one person. And this relationship was heavily depending on the daily mood of this one person. Decisions where often made based on this person's gut feelings and there was no reasoning tolerated about these decisions.
Offices really needed to be renovated. Computer were ok, if you insist on getting a good machine. Sometimes the outside and the surroundings of the office building looked like a junkyard.
Could be better, but if you ask the right people the right questions you get all the information you need.
Don't know if a hardcore feminist would be happy in this company. But actually this was one of the better parts of the company. Everybody was getting a chance to work there.
Most important aspect always was: do it cheap. But the time spent working on these cheap solutions was never part of the calculation. In my opinion some of the problems I needed to solve could be solved cheaper if you just bought some solution. The not-ivented-here-syndrome is strong in this company.
