Treat employees with respect and as humans.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Trust and fairness are words that the management has yet to learn in a dictionary. The atmosphere is not all bad because most colleagues stick together and that allows bonding.

Kommunikation

There are two types of communication streams you will find here:
1. Company -> All employees:
Business updates and "strategy" are communicated here. Having worked in several companies before this feels more like propaganda with little effort to stay truly transparent.
For instance, the way Kurzarbeit was introduced, communicated and held in place was/is accompanied by lies that were easily detected. POOR.
2. Manager <-> employee (one to one):
This obviously depends highly on the respective manager you have. You cannot complain about the frequency of communication here. However, there is a clear top-down approach to the definition of tasks and goals that are NOT in scope or alignment with your work contract.
Also meetings and calls change randomly to their convenience and the worst of all is that they will order you to spontaneously change your shifts or work extra (even on bank holidays and weekends)

Kollegenzusammenhalt

This is by far the best you'll find here. There is a sense of being in the same boat which makes all other employees very supportive and helpful at all times.

Work-Life-Balance

This is fantastic.
If you hate having a life.
Especially in Sales they will order you to work overtime, at weekends and keep a constant level of pressure in reaching ridiculous targets. I have seen more people cry here than anywhere else. A disgrace.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Don't worry about having conflicts with the management. Just keep quiet and say nothing even when blatant lies are being told, unrealistic goals or change of tasks (that have not been communicated before) are in question.
Management take feedback personally! There is no chance to have a mature conversation on how to improve a business.
I don't even want to go to detail in how little understanding mgmt. has of labour law.

Interessante Aufgaben

It's basically a call center in disguise. With the exception of the typical start-up "We-propaganda".

Gleichberechtigung

In my subjective perception women and men have equal chances and opportunities to develop and move up. Management consists mostly men, yet the CEO is a woman.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

I cannot say neither bad or good. Zizoo staff is very young in general. It would be nice to have had a few more senior colleagues with the respective experience level.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Office was fine and the workspace itself allows everyone to do her or his job.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

They separate litter accordingly and seem to be conscious about the environment. There is always room for improvement but good all in all.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

The basic salary is under average for most positions. There is a clear angle to hire people who have no leverage and are without alternatives (dependent on work visa etc.).
What people were paid the last couple of months during corona should be left unspoken.

Customer feedback depends highly on each sales employee's relationship management.
Zizoo cares most about its image in relation to investors.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

The only thing you learn is how to detect false promises. Since turnover is quite high, there is a high chance you will be assigned with new tasks to compensate this. It's not the learning you want, but you'll learn.
