Product and what problem it solves. Organization is not mature and the overall motivation is not great. There is absolutely no clear strategy from the CEO, it's mostly a big vision.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Establish a solid COO that brings the company forward by focusing razor sharp on the product, it's USP and the problem it solves. Motivate your leaders and give them some freedom to operate and prove themselves. Don't change the organization and setup every 2 weeks, b/c employees start to not care anymore.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The overall climate is rather poor, the folks on the ground cannot follow the rapid changes and decisions coming from the top. Product seem rather unestablished and not well understood, even among the employees, let alone the customers. Development teams spend most of their time building the core platform but the business models don't really promote the usage and delivery of the platform to clients.
Kommunikation
Changes are not communicated properly. The CEO argues with a pull model, i.e., all the information is there you just need to digest it.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Really nice and smart colleagues. Remote workers seem a bit disconnected but very influential which makes it hard sometimes.
Work-Life-Balance
There seems to be a lot of work mostly due to issues in prioritising them. It's an up and down but overall it's pretty good, most people do a 9-5 job, some work 12h days. Some people joke about coming in late or leaving early, which is annoying.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
This is a founder run company and he is very present and tends to micromanage pretty much everything. There is a tendency to blame leaders he hires for a lot of things so they disappear very fast and there is a lot of turnover caused by that.
Interessante Aufgaben
Some of the projects are quite interesting but it is not always clear where things are going.

This is an IT shop and there are, unfortunately, not too many women.

Pretty young crowd and no problem with older colleagues.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Equipment is not an issue all modern and top notch. Offices are under constant renovation, so there is a bit of noise there, but manageble.

Not sure if they are doing anything, at least it not well-known or emphasised.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Pay is very mixed. Key hires seem to get a very high base salary and bonus (only on paper though; never seen it paid out at all). Developers get average pay and no bonuses.

Branding seems really good from the outside, but it looks very different on the inside (which people figure out very quickly). I think the reputation is decreasing on the market, esp. from those who Braintribe has done business with.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Pretty much left on your own. No time or no budget in most cases is the answer if you ask for it.
