good for freshers not so good for experienced and internationals(non EU)
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
second in the Application Performance Monitoring industry
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
team leads are not trained with people skills ,Groupism of dev leads and they are given free hands , no Democratic process,
Verbesserungsvorschläge
bring working levels from tree to flat hierarchy
Please don't hire internationals with less salary, please give them deserving salary, Please don't exploit drawback of RWR work permit restriction of not being open to job market
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I liked my two years time with team I am part of especially the coworkers, luckily team was international before I joining and had nice first year But second year was difficult as team lead was not open to ideas and suggestions, had a very hard to to convince a design decision which later accepted and went fine.
Kommunikation
People are not that connected except those we are already their from 5+ years. I see it as a tree based communication where its very hard and far to reach levels above us. For me personally I spoke few times with CTO discussed the progress but never had a single meeting with architects. The way seating is followed at Linz office makes it hard for dev leads, managers, architects to be in touch with developers, I meet my Dev lead only 3 times and that was hike discussion. Hope they improve on this in future.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I rate it high according to my team members excluding my team lead , I am not sure how other teams cohesion was.
Work-Life-Balance
I heard and saw that work life balance is lowest rated as other teams have more work pressure
I personally found it very well balanced in my team, luckily even my team lead very open not to overload anyone.I tried myself to take more work do even future sprint work but lead was like no pressure.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I rarely had chance to meet superiors so I don't have experience to comment on superior behavior. But I have seen some non professional words communications by seniors on newly joined seniors.
Interessante Aufgaben
I found myself underchallenged , I did not get to many interesting or challenging tasks , did get two or three interesting ones in two years.
Gleichberechtigung
Internationals especially if you are non EU and work on RWR , had very hard time to ask salary hikes. It is the case for me but most employees from EU don't see it but for my experience I don't recommend non EU to work their.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Not sure what older means here, I understand it as employees who are working for more than 5 years in their , What I can say is if you are already senior(10+ years in IT) planning to work with existing seniors you will find it hard to work, you will not be heard, respected for your experience. CTO words in youtube channel - "we hire people to tell us what to do" is unfortunately not true
Arbeitsbedingungen
main working code base not well managed, if you are fresher you will find it hard to get started.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Since I was sponsered with RWR work permit did not negotiate while joining and had very hard time to ask for increase in salary.
But Mostly rest all are well paid
Karriere/Weiterbildung
most cases you will be allowed to do part time work , support for higher education
