TL;DR: Anyone who doesn't know how the company worked five years ago won't be disappointed.

Arbeitsatmosphäre
The working atmosphere is still good and definitely above the industry average, but anyone who knew the company five years ago can see the downward trend and is understandably disappointed.
Work-Life-Balance
Part-time for a few months for personal projects, a sabbatical, ... it's all possible. Having said that, the stress you take home from the office is enormous.

My gut feeling is that it looks better on paper than in reality.

Direct leads are OK, the further up you go, the worse it gets.
Kommunikation
We get all the information we need for our day-to-day work; medium-term planning is already more difficult, and communication from top management is a disaster.
