Job Description

At Tieto Caretech you’ll get a chance to provide citizens and end users with product offerings that help them in their life, reinventing the world for good. If that sounds interesting, please keep on reading.

About us

Through advanced, intuitive technology, Tieto Caretech reduces administrative work, improves decision-making, and strengthens safety and quality in health and social care. With the Lifecare software portfolio we enable health and social care professionals to focus on what matters most: people.

We are a global team of professionals working on providing products and services to different sectors from intensive care to laboratory and social care. In addition to working closely with our customers, we also have our own products that we build and develop for various fields in society. From enabling healthcare professionals to spend more valuable time with their patients to providing data for professional athletes to achieve even better results, we make all that possible. With us you can be part of advancing societies through purposeful technology and make your mark on the health and wellbeing of people.

We are a team of technical consultants working on assignments for our customers across Sweden and Norway, assisting with installations and various technical solutions. Our customers are primarily municipalities. Our team is distributed nationwide. We are now looking for a new colleague to join us in the role of Technical Consultant.

About the role

In this role, you will provide IT systems strategy, development, and integration services to external clients. You will work closely with client organizations to assess their software, hardware, and network requirements, and advise on technology solutions that align with their business strategy and operational processes.

You will lead and contribute to a range of technology consulting projects, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), technology strategy and transformation, information systems security, data strategy, and systems architecture. The role also involves supporting custom systems development, new system implementations, application migrations, enterprise application integration (EAI), as well as web, IP, and networking solutions.

This is a client-facing role where your ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions will be key to delivering successful outcomes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Install, configure, and maintain our operational environments for customers across Sweden and Norway
  • Support municipalities with technical areas such as SQL Server, IIS, Azure, SAML|OIDC configuration, APIs, firewalls, and PKI certificate management
  • Act as a technical expert in customer implementation projects, working closely with our development teams and business consultants
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure stable and secure system operation.
  • Continuously build knowledge of our products and solutions as part of your onboarding and ongoing professional development
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure availability and support for critical systems outside regular working hours

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Strong experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and IIS
  • Solid understanding of networking and firewall configurations
  • Experience working with APIs and system integrations
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

As a person, you are an engaged and open team player who enjoys working with diverse cultures, driving projects forward, and ensuring high-quality deliveries. You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role that combines both independent work and collaboration with colleagues and customers. You have a solid technical foundation and preferably experience within the sectors of Social Care or hands-on experience with systems such as Procapita/Lifecare/Socio/Gerica.

What’s in it for you?

With us you will be part of the important and meaningful work of developing healthcare for all of us. You have an important mission to make a difference that really matters. In addition, as a company we offer you professional growth, open and friendly culture, and an outstanding work-life balance! We believe that our organizational culture is an important part of enabling you to be successful. We provide a flexible hybrid work model as part of our culture and way of working.

Finally, we also believe in curiosity and learning as a lifestyle. We want to encourage you to keep up that curiosity and deepen your knowledge on topics you’re interested in. For example, we host a ‘Keep Learning Week’ twice a year, a week where everyone at Tieto has the possibility to join different training courses in a truly global setting.

Could you be our new colleague?

We look forward to hearing from you! We will fill the position as soon as we find the right person, so we encourage you to apply today. If you have any questions regarding this role, please contact the hiring managers fredrik.stadling@tieto.com

We perform background checks on all final candidates.

Tieto declines calls from recruitment companies.

At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds, genders (m/f/d), and walks of life to join our team, as we believe that this fosters an inspiring workplace and fuels innovation. Our commitment to openness, trust, and diversity is at the heart of our mission to create digital futures that benefit businesses, societies, and humanity.
