Senior Software Engineer - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise and a passion for building high-quality systems. In this role, you will take technical ownership of our Equity post-trade platform, driving architecture, modernization, and delivering robust solutions in a complex domain.

What You’ll Do

• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to production
• Design, build, and implement solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and microservices
• Drive modernization of legacy, database-heavy systems into modular, maintainable architectures
• Contribute directly to architecture and design decisions with a strong engineering mindset
• Define and execute technical solutions aligned with product and business needs
• Write clean, efficient, and production-grade code with focus on performance and scalability
• Take ownership of problem-solving in a complex, high-impact domain
• Work effectively in a distributed setup across locations

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, and microservices architecture
• Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monolithic applications
• Solid understanding of system design and building scalable, resilient solutions
• Hands-on engineer with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions forward
• Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices

Nice to Have

• Experience in Capital Markets or Equity post-trade systems
• Understanding of equity trading workflows
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
• Background in product-driven engineering environments
