Senior Accounts Payable Accountant
As a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, you are responsible for providing high-quality services to Roche suppliers and internal partners. You will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including booking complex invoices, validating payment requests, managing vendor accounts, and resolving invoice queries. You will act as a key point of contact, fostering collaborative relationships between finance teams and internal departments while participating in process improvements and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Process and validate PO-based and direct invoices and payment requests, and manage payments.
- Manage vendor accounts.
- Audit, report, and support AP invoice resolution.
- Handle internal invoice queries from affiliates.
- Promote strong collaborative relationships between finance teams and internal SSC teams.
- Participate in process improvement, ongoing projects, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance or relevant professional experience.
- General understanding of finance processes and standards; experience in accounts payable and SAP is an advantage.
- Strong communication and advisory skills with the ability to handle complex issues.
- Customer-centric approach to daily interactions.
- End-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, and an agile mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
- Proficiency in English.
