The Position
Roche is seeking a leader to set the direction and strategy for a supply chain team. This role involves overseeing daily process flows, implementing improvements to increase efficiency and customer experience, and ensuring compliance with local, regional, and global regulations. The position requires significant time spent leading employees, managing performance, overseeing budgets, and handling hiring and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Lead shift activities across Inbound and Storage operations to drive inventory replenishment and handle sensitive materials.
- Participate in project teams as a functional subject matter expert and operational representative.
- Maintain operational agility by mastering team responsibilities to support business continuity.
- Collaborate with management to align daily execution with strategic goals.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs to ensure performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field (or 4 years of related experience).
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing project objectives and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace/Office Suite and analytical tools.
- Preferred: 2+ years of supervisory experience, familiarity with SAP/EWM, and experience with Lean operating principles.
