Roche Diagnostics Germany is building a talent pool for Account Manager positions within their Sequencing Solutions division. This role focuses on revolutionizing the sequencing landscape by driving innovative products to market success.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business leads and relationships within the sequencing community.
• Develop and execute regional commercial growth plans to achieve revenue and strategic goals.
• Manage sales opportunities via CRM and conduct consultative product presentations.
• Provide technical expertise, including application consultations and data analysis support.
• Represent Roche at industry conferences and networking events.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, and service teams to align sales efforts.
• Partner with subregional teams to implement market penetration strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in capital equipment within the diagnostics or life sciences industry.
• Deep understanding of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and genomic techniques.
• Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify technical needs and provide business solutions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate complex sales processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to undertake national and international travel.
• Fluent in English; German or other European languages are an advantage.
• Preferred: 5+ years in clinical research or academic laboratory environments and proficiency in NGS data analysis.
