As a Calibration Specialist in the Engineering & SHE department in Kaiseraugst, you will support the pharmaceutical production of solid and liquid dosage forms by ensuring the calibration of GMP production systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and document calibrations to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain the qualified status of assigned measuring equipment.
• Manage documentation, including creation, review, and updates.
• Perform and document tasks in compliance with GMP standards.
• Develop and implement improvements for quality, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction in calibration processes.
• Participate in on-call duty.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in calibration, ideally within pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnological environments.
• Technical education in fields such as EMSR technology, bio/process engineering, or control engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of measuring instruments and GMP requirements, with experience in scale calibration preferred.
• Practical experience with technical GMP requirements from regulatory authorities like RHI, FDA, and EMA.
• Proficiency in IT systems including SAP, Calibration Management Systems, Comos, MS Office, and Google Suite.
• Strong German language skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
