The Position
You will be responsible for fixed assets and lease accounting, including creation, disposal, maintenance, and depreciation reporting. Key duties involve executing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS16, performing capital project accounting, and managing financial reconciliations. You will support internal and external audits, assist with tax matters, and ensure service level agreements and KPIs are met. Additionally, you will maintain documentation in line with Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR) standards, participate in continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement operational solutions.
Requirements
Candidates should hold a Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce, with 1-3 years of experience in fixed asset and lease accounting. Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems and MS Office is required. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory for supporting Mandarin-speaking regions. Preferred candidates will have experience in shared services or business process outsourcing.
