PostDoc Position in Immunology (m/f/d)

Roche is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Discovery Sciences team. The role focuses on developing a system to investigate molecular rules of immune recognition, specifically TCR/pMHC interactions, to create predictive models of specificity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine a platform for sequencing pMHC-specific TCRs, including T-cell stimulation and culture protocols.
• Design pMHC libraries, generate plasmids/vectors, and optimize viral titers for cell line generation.
• Perform quality control using ELISA, qPCR, and flow cytometry.
• Execute high-throughput sequencing of immune repertoires and analyze complex experimental datasets.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics and assay development teams to support diagnostic platform applicability.
• Document research for patent filings and present findings in scientific journals and conferences.

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 3+ years of research experience and a strong publication record.
• Expertise in T cell immunology and molecular laboratory techniques (cell culture, transfections, flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR).
• Proficiency in single-cell sequencing, from library preparation to data analysis using R, Python, and bash.
• Strong foundation in statistical concepts applied to biological datasets.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to establish new wet-lab techniques.
