Strategic Account Executive - Pathology Lab
The Strategic Account Executive for the Tissue Diagnostics franchise is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for capital instruments and reagents within targeted Anatomic Pathology labs in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role focuses on large strategic accounts, consolidations, and competitive opportunities, requiring the development of partnerships with stakeholders ranging from lab staff to the C-suite.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while developing new business within the assigned territory.
- Conduct value quantification presentations and lead strategic account planning processes.
- Coordinate internal resources, including support and service teams, to meet performance objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate progress on initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant sales or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Roche Diagnostics Tissue Division product portfolio.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Strong customer-focused selling, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Capital sales and Pathology/Digital Pathology experience, leadership abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
