Controlling Specialist

What you'll be handling:

• Providing commercial support and oversight for international client projects throughout the project lifecycle, as well as preparing and refining project budgets and forecasts
• Analysing variances and identifying and monitoring corrective actions
• Assessing project risks and opportunities in close collaboration with project management
• Providing support to designated subsidiaries on commercial matters
• Contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements at group level
• Participating in annual planning and quarterly forecasts at group and entity level
• Further developing controlling tools, KPIs and standard reports
• Ensuring consistent controlling standards and methods within the group, and contributing to the optimisation of processes and systems in international project controlling

What you'll need:

• A degree in business administration with a focus on controlling and accounting (particularly IFRS) or business informatics
• Strong IT skills, particularly in the areas of reporting/business intelligence, SAP CO and AI
• Excellent skills in English
• Several years’ experience in controlling, ideally in project controlling or plant engineering
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
• Highly results- and figures-oriented, with an understanding of operational contexts
• Strong communication skills and the ability to enforce decisions when interacting with various stakeholders
• Ability to work well in a team and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment
