Asked for free work, much unrealistic to a normal several hour case study.

Asked of a huge case study on a current project that's free work for them. Hopefully they don't reuse the ideas. This type of work with typically take a few sprint cycles by a small team to complete. Gave no data insights to make hypothetical user-centric business impacting decisions. They wanted it done in one week. Said they would be back to me in one week, but took two weeks to reject me after I followed up. Business as usual.
Said they hired a more "convincing" candidate. Then reposted the same job on LinkedIn. Bad communication, ridiculous expectations and exploitation of candidates.

Many thanks for your critical feedback. We very much appreciate, that you took time to review the application process at kununu.
We find case studies a very useful tool to get a better understanding of how a candidate thinks and also for them to get a better understanding of the potential challenges faced in the role. We do mention to the candidates that they should really time box the time they spent on the case. It is more important for us to understand the thought process rather than see implementation-ready solutions. The case study problem statement is not on the immediate roadmap for us and our intention is not to use any of the solutions provided by the candidates.
Please let me also outline, that providing in-depth feedback towards the provided case study is very important to us. Especially, if we decline on a candidate after working trough the case study, as we know that there is much time and effort invested. Therefore, please accept our apologies, if the case study feedback was not profound enough to ensure traceability from your side.
