Workculture used to be great, workload is sick
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It used to be a great team effort a year ago, people and their feedback were appreciated and it was all about cooperation (instead of competition). After mass layoffs earlier this year, the atmosphere shifted from human-centered to number-centered. Many great people left the company.
Work-Life-Balance
The workload is INSANE. I get that we work in a fast-paced environment but it was just too much, you could tell many people are close to burn-out and I‘m quite sure people left because of this.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The german saying „mehr schein als sein“ describes it quite well. Many colleagues are truly mission driven but that‘s not the case with company leadership.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I can only talk about my team and we always supported each other, I think it was similiar in other teams. Many people were friends with their colleagues - trauma bonded.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
I never heard of any issues
Vorgesetztenverhalten
This depends on the team obviously. Our lead was not very good at their job - there was a clear lack of expertise. There are a few extraordinary leads though!
Arbeitsbedingungen
Remote and Home Office options are great, flexible working hours as well but it‘s expected of you that you work overtime for sure
Kommunikation
Communication was quite good but it got less transparent and more chaotic the last months
Gleichberechtigung
They are trying, but company leadership is not truly interested
Interessante Aufgaben
Most of our tasks were interesting, you could learn quite a lot (but you have to actively step up and ask for this which is fine). This is definitely an advantage of the fast-paced environment.
