Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The top management has a general attitude in distrust in people and therefore they are no big fans of home office or remote work. Despite selling themselves as start-up, there are are many things which are old fashioned, especially about how to work and work-life balance.
If freelancers are hired in, their opinions are disregarded despite they were hired to get some extra knowledge. "About You" think they know better, despite having massive gaps in some fields.
People don't accept them as business partners, instead they are considered as additional workforce which has to jump on their behalf.
Budget issues are not communicated, they try to renegotiate already signed contracts.
Very bad behavior, not like Hanseatic people at all.

Thank you for your feedback, which we take very seriously.

As you have been assigned to work for us in a freelance position, your department has had capacity bottlenecks. In all interview processes with freelancers, we ensure that candidates are familiar with the workload. Allthough we have busy phases, we try to ensure that the work environment for employees and also for freelancers is appreciative. In case there are any problems, our HR team is always there to find solutions.

We place great importance on our company culture and corporate values. Our employees are commited with our culture and try to give this feeling to new colleauges. This does not mean that we are not open for new ways of thinking or how to work. Transparancy and open communication is a big part of our corporate culture. Therefore we have monthly events with our management board, where all employees get important information about the latest company news. We place freelancer for subprojects and ensure, that they get all information for their specific tasks. Sometimes it is not possible to involve freelancer in all topics, as we work with strictly confidental and high sensitive data.

As a company, we promote graduates and young professionals and give them chances to enter the labour world. Our social surrounding is coined by a colorful environment with a lot of private events in the evening. Especially young people feel comfortable in this area of work, therefore we have many young employees. This must in no way be taken as a basic requirement to an employee! We welcome employees at each ages and each level of experience!

ABOUT YOU is a young company and we carefully decide how we invest our money. Once we signed a contract, we do not renegotiate already agreed services. We trust our employees and freelancers and expect the same as an employer - in case there are clear reasons for an abuse of confidence, we act conscientiously and business-oriented.

In summary, we are very disappointed to read that there have been so many things, which did not worked well for you. We learned a lot from our experiences in your case and will communicate to freelancers even more effectively how it is like to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
