No one talks because of the top down pressure from upper management constantly applied onto inexperienced product managers. Everyone is out for themselves, you will be forced to attend team events as a fake (and cringe) attempt of social cohesion

You are not really told what is going on, senior management tend to hide information. And knowledge sharing is not really encouraged, due to the other comments listed here

Everyone is so busy working and being pushed around to consider anyone but their own wellbeing

Absolutely none. The company culture consists of prioritising the wishes of the company (shareholders) above wellbeing of employees

Arrogant, know-it-all, egotistical, insecure. Like to give the look of appearance but you wouldn't trust them as far as you can throw them. They pretend to care but it is so apparently ingenuine that it is very embarrasing, as though the company culture has melted away any sense of empathy they ever had

Absolutely terrible. It's as if having a personality there is disallowed; the people who seem to thrive in the company are the ones with little personality, general disregard for the wellbeing of others, and a general self-obsession.

During my short time at About You one thing I learnt is what an amazing scam the company is. It is a company with clever marketing that focuses on pushing a strong brand as an ;innovator'. When in fact they don't innovate at all, they are simply an online retailer with a business model of hiring Eastern Europeans or graduates with low expectations of living & working standards.
