Working at ASP – As Simple as Possible (my job in a nutshell)
Arbeitsatmosphäre
From day one I've felt included in different kind of tasks, meetings and events, which to me means a lot. Happy overall (I could say more here but I think there are other points in which it would be more suitable).
Image
Overall I believe the company has a good reputation, customers are happy and employees can happily (and proudly) say that the work in ASP.
Work-Life-Balance
Great! As long as your tasks are under control I believe you will always have time for you. Working time is of course dependent on your contract (e.g. 40hrs) but you have "total" flexibility on how you deal with them. You have the option to arrive later or go home earlier, and also based on your balance of hours (which can go either to plus or minus) you can ask for extra holidays which is always a nice option to have.
Gehalt/Benefits
Happy so far.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I believe that you can somehow look at people here as "family". Everyone is available when you ask for help and you can also be surprised when you naturally offer yourself to help others. Of course you have "groups" but getting yourself included is not a problem.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Not a problem at all. Older colleagues normally are quite happy to share their knowledge and often enjoy when someone comes with a good question or "challenge" for them.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Overall good, my personal experience with them has been positive so far.
Arbeitsbedingungen
I am happy so far. You have your "own" space, PC, coffee, also necessary tools are always at hand.
Kommunikation
Of course working in Germany without knowing German is difficult (or that's what I expected) but I think people around here make it quite easy. You have the option to speak English with almost everyone, and if not, its quite easy to just translate the sentences that you need for a small talk.
Interessante Aufgaben
Opinions on this point can be different from one person to another, but I believe getting bored here is quite difficult. At least from my point of view, during the time that I've been here, I've always had new "tasks" or challenges which keep me interested in what I do.
