Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Kommt bestimmt auch auf das Team an, aber generell sind die Kollegen sehr nett und man fühlt sich direkt wohl.:)

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Die Bezahlung inklusive Benefits sind echt ausbaufähig, vor allem funktionieren manche benefits dann auch nicht wirklich so wie propagiert.

Das C-Level bzw die höhere Managementebene hat es meiner Meinung nach faustdick hinter den Ohren. Meiner Meinung nach auch einer der Gründe warum trotzdem echt viele gehen/gegangen sind. Und klar die müssen auch mal unpopuläre Entscheidungen treffen, aber es geht auch einfach um das wie und wie das kommuniziert wird.

Zusätzlich hat man auch das Gefühl, dass allgemein in Führungspositionen eher Personen sind, weil sie schon lange dabei sind und nicht weil sie die Eignung haben Menschen oder ganze Abteilungen zu führen.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Die Arbeitsatmosphäre in meiner Abteilung war an sich sehr gut und die meisten Kollegen sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit.

Work-Life-Balance

Auf dem Papier fantastisch, in der Realität eher mäßig. Klar es ist Remote und man kann es in der Theorie mit seinem Alltag gut vereinen, aber in der Praxis ist halt einfach auch viel los und der Workload recht hoch. Workation,was man so mitbekommen hat, war ein Albtraum genehmigt zu bekommen, daher eher nur auf dem Papier da.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Gab eigentlich keine Angebote.

Gehalt/Benefits

Naja Gehalt und Sozialleistungen bzw. Benefits eher unterirdisch. Aber dafür halt Remote ;)

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Ist halt eine B-Corp. An sich hat man aber trotzdem nicht viel mitbekommen und es war eher undurchsichtig was das Unternehmen genau macht.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Das Team generell ist sehr jung, aber kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass ältere Kollegen ausgegrenzt werden würden.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Eher sehr schlechte Kommunikation. Vor Allem C-Level. Direkte Vorgesetzte war nett, aber ggf etwas überfordert. Außerdem war etwas undurchsichtig wer befördert oder neue Aufgaben bekommt und wer nicht, schien manchmal eher etwas mit Sympathie als mit Arbeitsleistung zu tun zu haben.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Wenn man Home-Office mag, dann top. Zur Verfügung gestellte Technik auch in Ordnung.

Kommunikation

Die Kommunikation im Team würde sich als gut beschreiben, aber Unternehmensweit eher so la la. Vor allem was die Kommunikation von oben nach unten angeht.

Decisions were only communicated once they were finalized, without involving people who were affected in the process. Overall, you don't really get a lot of updates on the company if you're fully remote, especially when working part-time.

Very intransparent and lack of structure, clear goals and inspiring leadership. Also there Are no experienced leaders or strategists.

Listen to the people and Not only to what leads tell you.
Also, maybe take the staff and their concerns more seriously.

Nice people everywhere. Bur die to Lack of clear goals and a basically non-existent communication (very dependent on the Team lead!) it can be very stressful and frustrating with loads of work being wasted because of last-minute changed plans and micro management.

Work from 9-6, no time tracking no compensation for overhours. But: super flexible. Doctors appointment? No problem. Child Sick? Don’t sweat it. Holidays? Take them.
Also you can work from anywhere in the world.

No clear path, no trainings, no experienced mentors, unqualified and unhelpful feedback.

Alright for some positions. But still being told that the salary is great as Appinio is a startup is ridiculous. The money is there but being distributed to other teams…

Again: depends on the Team and your lead. But I experienced toxic and belittling behaviour towards me and others. Big Red flag: lead talks very badly about team and people who are not there. Management knows.

Arbeitsbedingungen

You’ll get a new MacBook, Desktop, mouse, Keyboard etc for Home use. In the Office you’ll find adjustable desks, screens and everything else.

Kommunikation

The monthly company wide Meetings and Slack channels for announcements don’t really help with comms. Loads of rumours floating around and uncertainty regarding vision, strategy and goals on every Level and how this translates to your own job description.

Gleichberechtigung

Very international team. But females are still underrepresented in leadership

Interessante Aufgaben

You can be creative and try a lot of things. But be aware that you will need to fight for those things and be in a constant defense Mode regarding your work and ideas (at least in the Marketing) if lead doesn’t like them.
