My tip: don't assign a technical assignment that is within the scope of the firms domain.
You could essentially assign the exact same challenge using out of domain terminology like a dating app, restaurant recommendations, even printers and print jobs for that matter.
Interviewers / reviewers will be less opinionated about topics they do not deal with on a daily basis & the interviewee will feel less disadvantaged with a neutral topic.
On top of all that, there is the risk that a rejected interviewee might be left with a bad experience if they think they were used to solve things for the company.
No suggestions
Nothing really, smooth also if I ended up not accepting the offer!
Some invite were in German and I am an English speaker
Keep this hiring process and team mentality and you'd only have great people in the company who could really make a difference in the success of the business
Questions based on CV and previous experiences
No one, everything was smooth there
It went well - everybody was motivated, insightful, very well organized!
It took quite a while - it would have helped me to know from the beginning, that there are going to be multiple meetings, more than expected.
It is advisable to communicate at the beginning, how much time is to be invested in the process. Consider offering the transparent journey of what's to come: how many 1on1s, how many follow-ups, the test item and the approximate time of the final feedback. Otherwise the feeling of the very long recruitment process is really standing in the way of the positive attitude. Maybe communicate the frames of the offer after the first two appointments to keep the candidate going further motivated.
So verdient kununu Geld.
