Major decisions are communicated in a timely manner, but certain decisions do surprise employees.

Good, provided that he/she likes you. The owner is very hands off, which creates many problems. Because he does not actively implements his vision, some ambitious employees, which clearly have their own agendas, do what they like.

Gleichberechtigung

The company recently fired the only black guy working there. Some weeks later, it organized a webinar called "Beyond Tokenism: What is Real Diversity in Organizations?". Either they are cynics, or they haven't really understood what diversity really means. Just to make it clear: in Germany, black people usually have the worst kinds of jobs. So real diversity really needs some degree of "tokenism" to exist in this country. Besides this, even though women make up the lion's share of the company's employees, they do not really occupy positions of leadership (it is a very male dominant company at the top-decision making level).

Mediocre. Some equipment is very old.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The company really prints a lot, which I guess is part of their business model. Nevertheless, in recent years, due to covid, it has correctly shifted to the online environment in its offerings, which saves CO2.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

In general very bad. The chief reason why several people have been leaving the company. To be fair, the company doesn't have money to pay its employees better.

We are sorry to have disappointed you during your stay with atrain.

We are looking into your feedback with the attention and seriousness it requires.

We believe some clarifications are needed as it seems that our transparent and openly shared org chart and knowledge base tools were not enough for you to access the real numbers regarding equal rights and diversity at atrain. So here it goes:
• One of our Managing Directors is occupied by a woman.
• 52% of the members of our Executive Leadership Board are female.
• Female makes 54% of our strategic councils.
• Women are more than 65% of our workforce
We have people from all ethnicities, genders, religions, and ages.

We do not discriminate, and we condemn discrimination or bias toward nations, religions, gender, and color. We have been and will always be open to all people that want to build a better world. As you mentioned, we hired a black person, and he no longer being with us has no connection to his ethnicity, religion, gender or any kind of discrimination.

We believe in an open and safe environment where people can vocalize and express their ideas. We encourage everyone at atrain to participate in all initiatives that steer our strategies, ethos, and culture. I am positive you, as all other atrainers, are/were welcome to join these efforts.

We aim to improve ourselves as individuals, improve atrain as a fair and trustful organization, improve our customers and its people, and improve society.

As said in the beginning, we will absorb your input and increase even more our efforts to constantly evolve and be a fair, open and trustfull place to work.
