Communicate with your candidates!

The day after my application I got a phone call while I was in a meeting. I had a message on my answering machine that my application looks great and that they would like to talk about it further and if I could back.

I called back but the person was not at the desk. Colleagues left a note that I called. Since no one called back, I called again the next day. Same story repeats. This story now repeats for five more days and I wrote an email to my contact person directly. Only three days later I get an email back mentioning a time slot in which I could call. When I called my contact person needed to go to a meeting and we arranged another appointment. Luckily then - 16 days after my application - we had finally the first phone interview.
HR was pleased about the talk and wanted to share my application withthe department lead. We arranged another appointment for a further call. I have been called at the appointment but have been told that the department lead not.yet had the time to look at mya application and that I will be called back the week after. That call of course never happened.

Leider habe ich nach meinem persönlichen Gespräch nie wieder etwas gehört - auch nicht auf mehrfache Rückfrage. Das darf einer Personalberatung nicht passieren.

Ich hatte 3 bewerbunggespräche mit Austin Fraser bevor ich eine Zusage bekommen habe. Nach einem Telefoninterview kam eine Einladung zum Gespräch mit einem Teamleiter weniger Tage später. Und dann eine schnelle Zusage und eine Einladung zum finalen Gespräch, wo ich dann sofort ein gutes Feedback und eine Arbeitszusage bekommen habe.
Die Bewerbungsatmosphäre war sehr freundlich und positiv.
