Great mission and place to develop

Sometimes it would be great to have a few more senior colleagues for more guidance. More best practices and knowledge sharing would be nice too.

Dynamic and young team. Nice colleagues and have a fun time working there.

Since there's a lot of work, people tend to work quite long. On the other hand working times are quite flexible, so you can choose when to work.
Home office is not too welcome.

Fell like you have good career options when you're doing a good job. Very dynamic and you get rewarded for your performance.
Gehalt/Benefits
The benefits in general are quite good. Unfortunately working students only get the lunch subsidiary and no wellpass or other benefits. Salary is quite good for working students, but master students don't get paid more than bachelor's students. When I started a few months ago I was told this was about to be changed, but hasn't happened yet.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Overall pretty good. There are reusable boxes in the offices for getting lunch, waste is separated and drinks provided only in glass bottles or via a special tap.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Quite good. Working in smaller teams which improves team spirit.

There aren't too many older/senior colleagues in general.

Have a good impression of my supervisor, but haven't had too many contact points yet.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Quite nice hardware and setup. Unfortunately working students have to work with shared laptops which can be quite annoying since booked laptops are sometimes taken by other and you have to setup a completely new one.
Kommunikation
Communication overall is good. Since the company is quite young and growing really fast communication practices and ways of working change frequently and are further improved over time.
Gleichberechtigung
Haven't had any bad experiences yet regarding equality.
Interessante Aufgaben
Tasks are quite diverse and fun. You really get to work with different stakeholders internally and externally. For a working student I have a lot of ownership and own projects.
Nevertheless sometimes tasks can be repetitive, which is quite common for working students.

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The company offers a competitive salary. Also, the community is very young, and coffee breaks were never boring. The only reason I felt sad about leaving was the people I met there.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The way communication and feedback are handled at the company is concerning. Despite working there for almost a year, I spoke to my supervisor only once, and it was entirely on my initiative. The topics I tried to discuss were ignored, and no one reached out to check on my experience or comfort. After that meeting, I felt rejected and lost.
There were no opportunities to receive feedback on my work, which I consider crucial for growth. Overall, I felt that my contributions were not noticed, which eventually affected my motivation. Support for newcomers was very limited, and there was almost no onboarding.
Additionally, at a company event last year, I was unable to get a spot even though I RSVPed on time. It was disappointing, as it was a missed opportunity to connect with colleagues.

Communication opportunities should be provided, such as regular one-on-ones and feedback sessions after the first six months.

While many new employees are hired every month, the turnover rate is also high, which is unhealthy in my opinion.

Gives you full control as a working student. The more you want to contribute, the more they allow you to have ownership.

Ich hab die Arbeitsatmosphäre immer als super kollegial und freundlich wahrgenommen.
Work-Life-Balance
Durch die flexible Arbeitszeiten und Möglichkeit auf Home Office konnte ich perfekt meine Arbeitszeit in meine Doktorarbeit oder Studienzeit integrieren können.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Ich habe als Werkstudent trotzdem das Gefühl gehabt Teil des Teams zu sein und hatte ausnahmslos positive Erfahrungen mit allen Kollegen
Kommunikation
Die Dynamik der Kommunikation ist super modern und ohne informelle Hürden. Hatte jederzeit das Gefühl Dinge ansprechen zu können bei Vorgesetzten und Kollegen.
